Artesia's second annual Go Green event is designed to give Artesians ideas on how to conserve resources, be sustainable, and save money in the process. It's on Saturday, October 24, from 10 am to 2 pm, at Artesia Park.
The Go green event showcases hydro cell vehicles, electric vehicles, artificial turf, gardening tips, solar panel, and more.
Importantly, the event highlights programs to help Artesians, nonprofits, and local agencies gain access to various ways to save energy. Representatives from Southern California Edison, The Gas Company, South Coast Air Quality Management, CR&R, and other utilities and companies will be providing information about may cost-saving programs that are available to the public.
