Looking for an opportunity to volunteer in the Artesia community? Join the City of Artesia and TreePeople on Saturday, June 16, for a volunteer event at Artesia Park. Activities will involve tree maintenance, weed pulling, and wood chip spreading. The day’s activities are intended to help the trees and plants at Artesia Park continue to thrive.
If you’d like to volunteer, please pre-register
here, or email SELA@treepeople.org. Pre-registration is required to ensure that participants have enough equipment and adequate safety supervision is provided. Space is limited, and there will be no on-site registration.
As a safety precaution, all volunteers must wear closed toe shoes. It is recommended that volunteers bring a refillable water bottle, and wear long pants, a brimmed hat, and sunscreen.
Questions about the event can be directed to Karen Lee at (562) 865-6262 ext. 234.
