The City of Artesia has partnered with members of the community, to provide financial assistance and support the academic efforts of students residing in Artesia. The City developed the Scholarship Program to assist high school seniors who are pursuing a college education or seeking to develop expertise in a trade or vocation. As a result of generous monetary donations received from this year’s community sponsors, the City of Artesia is offering the following scholarships to high school seniors living in Artesia:
Scholarship Awards
Three, $1,000 scholarships
Three, $500 scholarships
To be eligible, students must meet the following criteria:
● Be a graduating high school senior planning to attend college, university, or a vocational school in the fall of 2023.
● Be an Artesia resident (proof of Artesia residency will be required)
● Have a minimum overall G.P.A. of 3.0
● Have volunteer work
● Submit a completed application, including the essay entry.
Scholarship applications are due by 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2023. Only complete applications will be considered.
